Police rushed to the Oldham recreation center around 4:30 pm yesterday for reports of four young men aged between 16 and 19 stabbed.

Covered with blood, two of the victims went to a nearby food store where staff had to use tissue to stem the bleeding.

The other two are believed to have stumbled into the sports center. All four were rushed to the hospital where they were treated for serious injuries.

Adeel Shazad, who owns the Kebabish Peri Peri across the street, described how the two young men sought refuge in his shop after being seriously injured.

The staff reminded emergency services and provided teenage first aid, using tissue to try to stem the bleeding, until medical personnel arrived.

Greater Manchester police said the injury was serious but is not currently believed to be life-threatening.

No arrests were made. So far there has been no further details about the incident.
