Viral Story of an old woman in Indramayu who almost died as a result of being wrapped around and sprayed by a cobra

News24xx.com - A tragic incident happened to an old woman named Yati (67 years), a resident of Karanganyar Village, Indramayu District, Indramayu Regency, West Java. While sleeping, he was wrapped around him and then sprayed with cobra venom measuring approximately 1 meter long. Luckily his life can still be saved. Even so, the victim had to undergo intensive care in the hospital.

Based on information collected, the incident began when the victim was sleeping in one of the rooms of his house on Friday (07 August 2020) at around 08.00 pm. Nearing midnight, the victim was shocked because he felt something wrapped around her neck and body.

While still lying and opening his eyes, the victim was shocked because, in front of her, there was a cobra with its neck upright and ready to attack. Mixed in surprise, the victim's hands reflexively grabbed the cobra's neck while screaming for help.

However, when trying to remove the coil, the cobra snake actually ejects venom and hits the victim's eye. Luckily, the cobra didn't bite him. After spitting out the venom, the cobra then hides under the furniture. Residents who knew about the incident immediately rushed the victim to Indramayu Regional Hospital.

Warsito added that after receiving the report, he and other Indramayu Fire Brigade officers conducted a search for a cobra that was still hiding in the house. After nearly half an hour, the snakes and caught are then released into their habitats far from residential areas.
