13 Positive Cases of Covid-19 in Siak, 11 of them from the PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper, Tualang Cluster
News24xx.com - Update on positive cases of Covid-19 in Siak as of Friday afternoon on August, 07 2020 increased by 13 people. 11 of them are members of the PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper cluster, 1 resident of Siak District and 1 resident from Tualang District are cadets at the military academy in Magelang, Central Java.
With this addition, the total number of confirmed positive cases of Covid-19 became 121 people.
Siak Regency Covid-19 Handling Task Force Secretary Budhi Yuwono said the 11 people from the PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper cluster were tracing results from previous patients. Now he has been treated at Eka Hospital, Pekanbaru.
"Meanwhile, 1 person from Siak was treated at the Tengku Rafian Regional General Hospital and another was treated at the Army Hospital, Pekanbaru," he said.
Budhi also detailed the 13 additions, namely
1. The 109th patient confirmed positive for Covid-19 is Mrs. BE (54) who is a resident of Siak District. Mrs. BE made close contact from his colleague, the 76th patient Mrs. SS (47).
2. The 110th patient is Mr. RN (34) who lives in the employee mess in Tualang District. Mr. RN made close contact with his colleague at PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper, namely the 70th patient Mr. B (52).
3. The 111th patient is Mr. E (30) who is a resident of Tualang District. Mr. E made close contact from his colleague at PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper, namely the 82nd patient Mr. JR (34) and the 84th patient Mr. PI (36).

4. The 112th patient is Mr. RO (33) who is domiciled in the employee mess in Tualang District. Mr. IRO made close contact with his colleague at PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper, namely the 68th patient Mr. D (50) and the 98th patient Mr. N (52).
5. The 113th patient is Mr. J (48) who is a resident of Tualang District. Mr. J made close contact with his colleague at PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper, namely the 98th patient Mr. N (52).
6. The 114th patient is Mr. K (52) who is a resident of Tualang District. Mr. K made close contact with his colleague at PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper, namely the 98th patient Mr. N (52).
7. The 115th patient is Mr. AK (44) who is a resident of Tualang District who is also an employee at PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper.
8. Patient 116 is H (15) who is a resident of Tualang District who is also part of the PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper cluster.
9. The 117th patient is Mr. JP (49) who lives in an employee mess in Tualang District. Mr. JP (49) is a cluster of PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper.
10. The 118th patient is Mr. A (36) who is a resident of Tualang District who is also a cluster of PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper.
11. The 119th patient is Mr. I (51) who is a resident of Tualang District which is a cluster of PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper.
12. The 120th patient is Mr. M (45) who is a resident of Tualang District. Mr. M made close contact from his colleague at IKPP, namely the 68th patient Mr. D (50).
13. The 121st patient is Mr. DCT (19) who is a resident of Tualang District. Mr. DCT is currently being treated and isolated at the Pekanbaru City Army Hospital. He is a cadet at the military academy who will return to Magelang, Central Java.
Budhi conveyed that positive patients with Covid-19 in Siak who were treated were scattered in several hospitals.
"48 people were treated at Eka Hospital, 19 at the Tengku Rafian Siak Regional General Hospital and 3 people in the Hajj Dormitory and 1 in the Army Hospital. A total of 71 were treated," he explained.
Meanwhile, the good news is that there are 5 people who have recovered, namely the 58th patient Ny. Y (42), the 5th patient Mrs. F (80), the 7th patient Mr. MY (89), the 55th patient Mrs. TIW (36) and the 54th patient Ny. FY (36). The five patients were treated at the Tengku Rafian Siak Regional General Hospital.
"So, 49 people have recovered and been sent home," he said.
As positive cases of Covid-19 increased in Siak Regency, Budhi appealed to the public to comply with government recommendations in implementing health protocols. He invited people to always wear masks, wash their hands diligently, avoid crowds and maintain a healthy lifestyle. (adv)
