8 More Positive Covid-19 Cases in Siak Are Still From the PT Indah Kiat Pupl and Paper Tualang Cluster

News24xx.com - The Covid-19 update per Thursday afternoon, August 6 2020, recorded the addition of 8 positive people who were the employee cluster of PT Indah Kiat Pupl and Paper, Tualang District, Siak Regency.

The total number of positive patients for Covid-19 in Siak has increased to 108 during the pandemic outbreak.

Siak Regency Covid-19 Handling Task Force Secretary Budhi Yuwono said all confirmed patients had been treated and isolated at Eka Hospital, Pekanbaru City.

Budhi specified, the 8 additions were:

1. The 101st patient confirmed positive for Covid-19 is Mr. MR (25) who lives in the employee mess in Tualang District. Currently isolated and treated at Eka Hospital, Pekanbaru.Tn. MR is an employee at a company in Tualang District. He is a close contact of Patient 70th Mr. B (52) who turned out to be a co-worker.

2. The 102nd patient is Mr. CA (28) who is a resident of Tualang District. Currently it has been isolated at Eka Hospital, Pekanbaru. Mr. WK was a close contact of the 70th patient Mr. B (52) who is also a co-worker.

3. The 103rd patient is Mr. A (46) who is a resident of Tualang District. Currently it has been isolated and treated at Eka Hospital, Pekanbaru. Mr. A is a close contact of the 70th patient Mr. B (52) who is also his co-worker.

4. The 104th patient is Mr. I (50) who is a resident of Tualang District. Currently, it has been isolated and treated at Eka Hospital, Pekanbaru. Mr. I is a close contact of the 70th patient Mr. B (52) who is also a co-worker.

5. The 105th patient is Mr. BP (39) who is a resident of Tualang District. Currently, it has been isolated and treated at Eka Hospital, Pekanbaru. Mr. BP was a close contact of the 57th patient Mr. AA (39) who is also his colleague.

6. The 106th patient is Mr. S (33) who lives in a company employee mess in Tualang District. Currently, it has been isolated and treated at Eka Hospital, Pekanbaru. Mr. S is a close contact of the 70th patient Mr. B (52) who is also his co-worker.

7. Patient 107 is Mr. N (52) who lives in the company employee mess in Tualang District. Currently, it has been isolated and treated at Eka Hospital, Pekanbaru. Mr. N is the close contact of the 70th patient. B (52) who is also his co-worker.

8. Patient 108 is Mr. AM (30) who lives in the company employee mess in Tualang District. Currently, it has been isolated and treated at Eka Hospital, Pekanbaru. Mr. AM is a close contact of the 70th patient Mr. B (52) who is also his co-worker.

Budhi said that currently there are 183 swab samples awaiting the results. He also said that positive patients with Covid-19 in Siak who were treated were scattered in several hospitals.

"Treated at Eka Hospital 38 people, at the Tengku Rafian Siak Regional General Hospital 22 people and Hajj Dormitory 3 people. A total of 63 were treated," he explained.

Meanwhile, the good news is that 2 people have recovered, namely the 53rd patient Ny. EY (35) and the 66th patient Ny. FN (23), the two patients from the Tengku Rafian Siak Regional General Hospital.

"So, 44 ??people have recovered and been sent home," he said.

As positive cases of Covid-19 increased in Siak Regency, Budhi appealed to the public to comply with government recommendations in implementing health protocols. He invited people to always wear masks, wash their hands diligently, avoid crowds and maintain a healthy lifestyle. (Adv)
