Experts compare the real effectiveness of the Porsche Macan and Jaguar E-Pace

- In 2014, the Macan model, created on the basis of Audi with full or rear wheel drive, appeared on the market. The E-Pace model was shown in 2017 with a Range Rover Evoque front-wheel-drive bogie. 

- The average cost of a Porsche in the UK market is 60 thousand pounds, and the Jaguar is less than 40 thousand.

- The German model has become one of the most sought-after new cars in the country. The Jaguar model was less in demand, but over the past 18 months it has significantly strengthened its own position. Both cars use powerful 2-liter turbocharged petrol engines.

- In the cabin Jaguar space seems smaller, but at the same time, even tall people don’t feel inconvenience in it. The rear passengers in this car have a few less space available, but the difference is softened due to the design features of the seats. The trunk of a Porsche is 20% larger when compared with the E-Pace.

- During the evaluation of the driving parameters of the auto experts found that Jaguar picks up speed faster than Porsche at full power. To achieve this effect was possible thanks to the 9-section automatic transmission. Both SUVs show identical grip on a slippery road, but the Porsche's handling in these conditions is slightly higher.

Experts add that during the tests, Macan managed to notice a competitive advantage over many parameters.
