Siak Council Urges KSI company to Comply with Inter-Company and Community Koto Gasib Agreement

SIAK - Regional Representative Council (DPRD) Siak urges PT. Kurnia Samudra Indonesia (KSI), in order to comply with the agreement between the company and the community of Kampung Rantau Panjang, Koto Gasib Subdistrict, Siak Regency. The consensus, in the form of the results of the demands of residents so far to the industrial salt company.

"Yesterday the community and the company made an agreement, for that, obey the regulation," said Siak DPRD Commission IV chairman Robi Cahyadi.

Robi said that so far he had received news that the agreement had not been fully complied with by the company.

"Not all of them have been fulfilled, but I got information that the public has written to the company regarding the agreement," Robi said.

"They demanded the promise they made with the community," said the legislator from Koto Gasib Sub-district.

Robi also said, if the demands of the community were not met by the company, then it would lead the issue to the realm of the DPRD.
