Regent of Mursini Planted Prime in an Area of 136 Hectares

News24xx.com - Kuansing Regency Government through the Department of Agriculture has made a Joint Planting Movement Food Supply program and the first planting activity was carried out by the Regent of Kuansing, Drs. H. Mursini, M.Si and attended by the Head of the Riau Provincial Agriculture Service, represented by the Head of Food Crops Ir. Gusriani, Head of the Kuansing Agriculture Office Ir. Emmerson in Teberau Panjang Village, Gunung Toar District, on an area of 136 Hectares, on Tuesday 30 June 2020.

This effort was made to anticipate scarcity and shortages of food stocks in the regions, especially rice. So to respond to that step, the first planting of intensification quality improvement activities was carried out.

"Based on reports from the agriculture service, that in June and July rice planting will be carried out simultaneously on an area of 2,522 hectares," he added.
