News24xx.com - As many as 33 students who skipped school were netted by the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) Pekanbaru City, Monday (11/18/2019) morning. Satpol PP officers found cigarette packets and cutter knives in some of the students' bags.

"Today, we discipline students during school hours. We discipline starting from Jalan Hang Tuah to Jalan Imam Munandar (Harapan Raya)," Pekanbaru Satpol PP Head Agus Pramono said after registering the students at his office on Monday afternoon.

Students secured around 33 people. The students, all of them men, were secured in internet cafes and several stalls.

"If it is school hours, then it must be school. Because, they are the next generation," said Agus.

A total of 33 students were recorded. His parents and teacher were called so that the actions of the students were known.

"We call parents to be watched together. This raid is also based on reports from the school because many are truant," said Agus.

Regarding the findings of the cutter knife, it is still understandable because of the sharpening of the stationery. During, the cutter knife does not lead to negative actions.

"The cutter knife is a matter for the school," he added.

Regarding the findings of a pack of cigarettes, this is also an input to his parents and the school. Because, the school area may not smoke.
