News24xx.com - Regent of Indragiri Hilir Regency, HM Wardan, appealed for the implementation of the Covid-19 health protocol when slaughtering sacrificial animals. This was expressed during the Ied Adha prayer at the Great Mosque of Al-huda Tembilahan, on Friday, July 31, 2020 morning.

According to the Regent, a number of things that need to be considered when carrying out slaughter of sacrificial animals as regulated in the Covid-19 health protocol are the use of masks, distance restrictions and maintaining hygiene discipline.

"To the public, especially to the sacrificial committee, it is important to pay attention to health protocols. We do not want this happy moment to be a moment of the spread of Covid-19 because we do not obey the appeal or health protocol," concluded the Regent.

In addition, the Regent also suggested that the organizing committee of the sacrifice be able to deliver the meat directly to the community's houses as a form of anticipation of the spread of Covid-19 in IIndragiri Hilir Regency.

"I hope that the Sub-District Head and the Village Head will supervise the implementation of the Covid-19 health protocol during the process of slaughtering sacrificial animals," said the Regent.
