The match between Inter Milan vs. Fiorentina ends in a draw


NerazurriNerazurri - Inter Milan failed to return to second place in the Italian League. It happened after the Nerazzurri were offset by Fiorentina 0-0 in the Italian League.

Inter host Fiorentina at Giuseppe Meazza on Thursday (7/23/2020) early morning hrs. The Nerazzurri bombarded the Viola defense in the first half but never scored until halftime.

The second half goes a little more balanced. Fiorentina boldly launched an attack and made Samir Handanovic have to work harder to secure the goal.

Inter in this fight has bad luck. Two experiments hit the pole, namely from Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez.

The second half never produced a goal. Both teams must be satisfied with a goalless draw and each has one point.

One additional point keeps Inter stuck in third place with 73 points, losing one point from Atalanta in second and seven points from Juventus at the top of the table. Fiorentina is in the 11th position with 43 points.

Inter immediately threatened Fiorentina's goal in the fifth minute. Christian Eriksen's free-kick turned towards Martin Caceres, but Pietro Terracciano quickly prevented an own goal. The wild ball is then struck by Romelu Lukaku from close range, but again Terracciano can be secured.

Inter's second threat to Fiorentina came in the 10th minute. Nicolo Barella fired sharply from outside the penalty box, but the ball was pushed over Terracciano well.

Eriksen's cross from the right side of the opponent's defense was greeted by Lukaku's header which stood without an escort in the 18th minute. Terracciano is a dead step, the ball hit the La Viola goalpost.

Inter threatened again in the 34th minute. A ball is led by Ashley Young in the penalty area and directed at Lukaku in front of the goal. Belgian bombers kick successfully countered by Terracciano from close range.

Two minutes later it turned out that Fiorentina spread threats. Starting from a free-kick bait, Pezzella Germany welcomed the ball with a header. Experiments have not yet led to Inter's goals. 0-0 score lasted until halftime.

Inter again experienced bad luck in the 51st minute. Lukaku, who made it through several opponents, handed the ball over to Alexis Sanchez. Chile fired, but the ball still hit the post.

Fiorentina made a threat in the 56th minute. Gaetano Castrovilli free-standing fired in front of the Inter penalty box. The ball leads to the goal, but can still be saved by Samir Handanovic.

Inter repeatedly launched attacks on the Fiorentina defense. After difficulty penetrating from the middle, the Nerazzurri sent the ball into the Fiorentina penalty box through across but had not yet produced a goal.

Fiorentina threatened in the 79th minute. Fiorentina's counter-attack was initiated by Federico Chiesa, Pol Lirola from close range. The ball can not enter the Inter goal after it leads to Handanovic.

Inter created chances at the end of the match. Lautaro Martinez shot still defeated goalkeeper Fiorentina. 0-0 score lasted until the fight is over
