Amid of Covid-19 Pandemic the Preparation for the Commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of Republic of Indonesia in Siak Regency, the Wisdom and Simpleness of the Day Will Be Done

"This meeting is related to the implementation of the 75th Birthday of the Republic of Indonesia Siak Regency on August 17, which is in accordance with the direction of the Minister of State Secretary through Circular Letter Number B-492 / M.Sesneg / Set / TU.00.40 / 07/2020 concerning the Guidelines for the Implementation of the 75th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia in 2020, the implementation is by implementing a health protocol "he said.

For this reason, he continued, in practice it is required to apply health protocols such as maintaining distance, wearing masks, minimizing the buildup of ceremony participants.

The agenda of the meeting was focused on listening to input from the meeting attendees consisting of the Leaders of the Regional Apparatus Organization, related to the implementation of the wisdom of the Republic of Indonesia 75th Birthday which was wise, organized, minimalist, and in accordance with the health protocol.

"I hope the input from the Leaders of the Regional Apparatus Organization and Section Heads, Subdivision Heads so that the implementation of the 75th Birthday of the Republic of Indonesia Siak Regency ceremony this year can run wisely, orderly, minimalist, and with the application of health protocols" said Jamal.

The final results of the meeting decided that the 75th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Proclamation in Siak District was held in the Siak Regent's Office yard to avoid the crowds of people watching.

For the participants of the ceremony, we decide to only consist of Echelon II, III, and IV Officials who will later be arranged in such a way that the distance between the ceremony participants meets the one meter requirement," said he.

He also explained that some activities in celebrating the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day would be canceled as an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

"Other supporting activities such as competitions and carnival marches will be stopped. This is as an anticipation step for the spread of Covid-19," he explained.

Then Jamaluddin explained that after the flag ceremony was held in the Regent's Office yard, President Joko Widodo continued to carry out the ceremony of the proclamation.

In addition to being followed by the State Civil Apparatus in the Siak Regency Government, Jamaluddin also conveyed an appeal to the public to attend the implementation of the Republic of Indonesia's independence ceremony from their respective homes through the Mass media.
